Get Well Soon will release its highly anticipated new studio album Amen on 25 March 2022 via Virgin Music. Konstantin Gropper’s sixth full-length marks the beginning of a new chapter.
Whereas the 2018 release The Horror highlighted the German songwriter’s take on what felt like a rather dark and toxic situation, the upcoming album Amen sees the 39-year-old artist return to a better and more hopeful place – despite the current state of the world. “‘A person’s true character is often revealed in times of crisis,’ someone wise once observed – and well … voilà.” – Says Konstantin Gropper.
As for the sound of the album, Amen is generally painted with a lighter palette compared to its predecessors. But Amen is certainly not all positivity either. Instead, it’s Get Well Soon with the question of how to get that positive place back – despite whatever horror scenario unfolds. We’ll have to wait until spring to find out if there is an answer.
