Indie rock band Courteeners announce their seventh studio album Pink Cactus Café, to be released on 25 October through Ignition Records. The album was mixed by Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, FOALS, Wolf Alice) and mastered by Robin Schmidt (The 1975, Pixies, Placebo, Sam Fender).
Pink Cactus Café is the long-awaited follow-up to the critically acclaimed album More. Again. Forever. from 2020. More recently, the 2023 reissue of debut album St. Jude reached the No. 1 position in the UK Album Charts, 15 years after its original release. With Courteeners singer Liam Fray as co-producer of the forthcoming album and contributions from DMA’S, Brooke Combe, James and Ian Skelly (The Coral), Pixey and Charlie Salt (Blossoms), among others, the band will release a sound that explores all boundaries; a mix of euphoric electronic pop within the familiar sound of their indie origins.
